Description

If you love making motifs, but find sewing them together tedious, or you are just looking for a new method, check out this video! Brenda K. B. Anderson demonstrates how to use the Zig-Zag join technique to seam granny squares together. This is a fun method that uses yarn and a crochet hook and makes a decorative seam. It allows all of the pieces to remain flat, unlike many other crochet-join methods. This can be done with a matching color, or for a more decorative look, a contrasting color can be used. Brenda not only shows us how to create a seam between pieces, but she also demonstrates two different approaches for an overall plan of assembly as well.

This would be a great option for putting together the squares in the Gallery Throw! A free pattern for this project can be found here.

The tutorials for each square can be found here.
