Description

Post stitches can be used to create a lovely ribbing when working in the round. In this video, Brenda K. B. Anderson compares and contrasts two different style of post stitch ribbing. In the first example, Brenda shows us how to use Front Post stitches, alternating with Back Post stitches to create a thick, stretchy ribbing that looks nearly the same on both sides. In the second demonstration, Brenda shows us how to use the extended single crochet stitch in conjunction with post stitches to create a somewhat less bulky version of a ribbed fabric, with a smooth Wrong Side. At the end of the lesson, Brenda gives us some ideas on how to customize each of these stitch pattern to fit the needs of our project.
