Quick Tip: Estimating Yardage on A Partial Skein

Mary Beth Temple
Duration:   1  mins

Description

We all have partial skeins of leftover yarn. These are still very useful for colorwork, granny squares, amigurumi, embellishments, or other small projects. But when we start on a project we want to be sure that we will have enough yarn to finish it. So how do we determine how much yarn is left in those partial skeins? In this video Mary Beth Temple shows us her method of using the weight of the leftover yarn to calculate the yardage that remains from those 100 gram skeins.
