Hi, I'm Mary Beth Temple and I'm here today to talk to you about edge stitches in Tunisian crochet. Now, a lot of us were taught when we were crocheting along that we should go under that last vertical bar for the last stitch as if to TSS as if to Tunisian simple stitch. However, if you put your hook under that last bar and also under the strand that is behind it, so you're going under two separate strands of yarn and then yarn over and do your pickup, you get a much neater edge. It more closely mirrors the right hand edge and gives you a good base to either seam or put some edging on later if you need to.
